USD $180,874.00 - USD $226,093.00 /Yr.

Overview

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a VP, Operations to join our Lumicera Administration department!

 

The VP, Operations at Lumicera Health Services is responsible for leading a team of experienced professionals, providing oversight for day-to day operations, implementing strategic initiatives and ensuring professional development of the operations team. The VP, Operations is to establish and execute on long-range goals, strategies, plans within the Lumicera Specialty Pharmacy business. This role participates in development of the strategic plans for Lumicera through involvement on the Navitus Operating Committee (OC) and is responsible for operationalizing these goals and policies. Responsible for operational excellence with oversight of, and development and monitoring of pharmacy key performance indicators to meet organizational financial, operational, and service goals. 

 

The VP, Operations will provide leadership and ensure performance of the departments providing patient care and services. This role will ensure that the specialty pharmacy is in compliance with all agreements with payers, Pharma, requirements of all applicable Accreditation Organizations, including overseeing the administration of agreements within the specialty pharmacy, performance programs, the Lumicera Quality Management Program and pharmaceutical Fee-For-Service manufacturer agreements for the specialty pharmacy. The individual in this position will provide direction through analysis of cost modeling and budget impact analysis. The individual will assist in the Lumicera and Navitus proposal strategies to meet both Lumicera’s (the specialty pharmacy) and Navitus (PBM) sales and growth needs; and continue to meet or exceed all requirements to maintain full URAC, ACHC and other accreditation statuses.  This role will represent the organization to the public, accrediting bodies, clients, and vendors in ongoing business relationships and/or prospects.   Travel to pharmacy sites, in person company meetings and/or conferences may be required.

To drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives. 
  • Motivates and leads a diverse and high-performing team; directs the attraction and recruitment of resources and retains valued resources; provides mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program. Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company. 
  • Responsible for Operational Excellence with oversight of, and development and monitoring of pharmacy key performance indicators to meet organizational financial, operational, and service goals 
  • Advise the VP/SVP on key corporate planning issues, business activities, opportunities and recommended action plans that relate and impact the operations of the company. 
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory, Quality Management Program, and accreditation of Lumicera through URAC and ACHC, and adhere to compliance program objectives. 
  • Participates in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives concerning specialty pharmacy opportunities including strategic partnerships and direct purchase arrangements, partnering with leadership, and providing counsel to ensure that high quality contracting management programs are profitably developed. 
  • Participate in the development and creation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts related to the procurement of specialty pharmaceutical products and supplies for specialty pharmacy. 
  • Responsible to ensure pharmacy is adequately staffed to meet all government regulations. 
  • Participates as an active member on the Operating Committee. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?  

  • Graduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D, degree with current, unrestricted license required 
  • Master’s degree (MBA) or equivalent; or 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Maintain a current, unrestricted RPh or PharmD license 
  • Ability to apply for additional state licensure as needed 
  • An experienced leader and organizational executive with appropriate clinical and industry experience, preferably in the Specialty pharmacy or pharmacy Benefit Management field 
  • Six Sigma and Process Improvement experience preferred 
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives 
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
