Pay Range

USD $65,686.00 - USD $79,140.00 /Yr.

Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Client Onboarding Advisor to our Government Programs department 

 

The Client Onboarding Advisor will play a key role during new client implementations to understand the client’s current processes, requirements and goals and will cross reference these to Navitus’ product offerings to strategize on how to meet the client’s needs. This individual is responsible for the creation and execution of onboarding plans created specifically for the client and will oversee the entire onboarding process end-to-end for their functional area. The Client Onboarding Advisor will act as a key member of the implementation team to ensure a positive, successful client and member experience in their transition to Navitus.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Provides oversight of daily operations required to support the Medicaid product.
  • Provides support, maintenance, and distribution of Medicaid regulatory reporting.
  • Develops and maintains deep subject matter expertise related to State Medicaid requirements for member materials, formulary/preferred drug list/clinical edits, prior authorization, grievances and appeals, FWA, customer care and pharmacy helpdesk, MIS / IT, third party liability, 340B, rebates, and reporting.
  • Develops cross functional expertise in Medicaid to better understand upstream and downstream processes.
  • Supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of Medicaid Compass processes and interfaces for the Medicaid Operations team.
  • Develops the necessary tactical project plans and leads projects that enhance the Medicaid infrastructure and address regulatory and client specific changes.
  • Develops and maintains product documentation and training materials for key processes and services. Provides ongoing subject matter expertise to key personnel, including Member Services, Grievance and Appeals, Technical Operations, Provider Networks, Technical Operations, IT, Client Services and Clinical.
  • Analyzes the proposal documentation (or contract) for deliverables that need to be developed and resourced to ensure all planned deliverables align with requirements
  • Documents current operational procedures, workflows, and limitations and presents these to clients
  • Collaborates with implementation team and client to understand business needs and goals, taking care to identify and translate differences in terminology and workflows between organizations to ensure optimal alignment
  • For new functionality, develops and documents requirements, process maps, reporting needs, test plans, and approval criteria. Collaborates across other technical areas to develop project plans, resourcing, and delivery
  • Obtains leadership approval for deliverables and partners with implementation or account management teams to seek client approval. Escalates any challenges or barriers to leadership
  • May be responsible to compose high-quality, persuasive, and professional content on behalf of the functional area for proposals and maintain content in the Navitus proposal library
  • May be responsible for developing, editing, and ongoing maintenance of functional area’s responses in Navitus’ proposal library system
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of PBM administration required
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Product preferred
  • 5+ years of healthcare and/or PBM industry experience preferred
  • Functional process management or technical application experience preferred
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
