Pay Range

USD $120,525.00 - USD $150,656.00 /Yr.

Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Director, Regulatory Implementation to our Legal & Regulatory Affairs department!  

 

The Director, Regulatory Implementation is responsible for the development, implementation, administration, and operationalization of actions needed to ensure compliance with laws and regulations impacting pharmaceutical benefit manager (PBM) services.  This role reports directly to the Chief Legal Officer, coordinating closely with the Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and other cross-functional leaders across the organization to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

The director will be organized with the ability to effectively engage with various audiences including internal partners, health plan clients, as well as federal and state regulators and manage multiple projects over numerous timelines.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?   

  • Partner closely with leaders across the Navitus enterprise including but not limited to Compliance, EMPO, Government Programs, IT, and Networks.
  • Review, understand, and provide guidance, in conjunction with Legal, on applicable regulations and sub-regulatory guidance.
  • Develop and implement plans for operationalization of actions needed to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. 
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Compliance work plan in coordination with overall Compliance Department work plans.
  • Coordinate quarterly review of regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal audit personnel on development of annual audit plans.
  • Respond to compliance concerns posed by regulators, clients and cross-functional partners.
  • Lead, manage and develop regulatory implementation team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?  

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 10+ years overall experience.
  • Substantial experience and/or education in leading and managing projects.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Healthcare Compliance, PBM, or other relevant experience in regulatory oversight or general compliance matters.
  • Proven ability to read, analyze, and interpret state regulations, state contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Team leadership and management experience.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
