Pay Range

USD $69,627.00 - USD $83,888.00 /Yr.

Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Analyst II, Software Test Automation to join our IT Development department!

 

This role will be responsible for learning the programming languages necessary for the utilization of the selected tools and will support implementation of the scripts to run automated testing. This position’s primary functions involve performing the necessary automated and regression testing ensuring Navitus is able to set up and maintain a versatile, accurate, claim adjudication system. This position is also a resource for teams within Navitus and our clients to turn to for advice/guidance on testing related items for releases, NaviClaimRx (NCRx) benefit set up, and downstream processes. Enhancing and executing regression testing will be a heavy focus for this position.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Develop scripts for regression testing
  • Assist in execution of centralized testing strategy
  • Develop standards regarding testing scenarios
  • Collaborate with functional owners to improve test plan development and execution, reduce rework and issues with Production releases, and reduce delay of releases to Production
  • Acquire significant understanding of NCRx system and upstream/downstream processes
  • Maintain an understanding of the claim adjudication platform for test results management
  • Utilize workflow management tools (such as the Service Desk) that are currently in place
  • Participate in the effort to achieve department service levels as outlined by CAT leadership
  • Responsibilities (including one or more of the following): TestComplete, HP ALM, VB Scripting, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • College degree or equivalent experience required in the field of Computer Science with a focus on Software Testing or Quality Assurance and/or a minimum of 2 years of professional experience
  • Certified Pharmacy preferred
  • ISTQB Certified Foundation Level Tester preferred
  • Experience with HP ALM, TestComplete or another automated testing software application is preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in VB Scripting and SQL
  • 1-3 years of experience in process or test automation
  • 1-3 years of experience in system testing of a large and complex table driven application is required
  • Experience with model office concepts and software development lifecycle is required
  • Knowledge of software development testing tools is optimal
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite is required
  • Healthcare industry practices and HIPAA knowledge would be a plus
  • Knowledge of Medicare Part D regulatory requirements preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
