Due to growth, we are adding Pharmacist, Clinical Consultation to our Lumicera Clinical Services department.
The Pharmacist, Clinical Consultation’s main duty is to perform telephonic consults with patients regarding the use of their specialty medication and management of their disease state. The Pharmacist, Clinical Consultation will perform medication reconciliation and screen for potential drug interactions. This individual may take calls from customers regarding issues, lost orders or dispensing errors, maintain daily production, quality and service levels, vary work priorities and activities to accommodate business needs.
Ancillary tasks for the Pharmacist, Clinical Consultation will be to interpret physicians' prescriptions, contact doctors or other prescribers and/or patients to verify information on prescriptions and expedite processing of orders. This position may also be responsible for dispensing medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines on-site to accommodate business needs.
The Pharmacist, Clinical Consultation solves complex problems and takes a new perspective using existing solutions. The individual in this position works independently and receives minimal guidance with frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.
