Pay Range

USD $157,982.00 - USD $197,478.00 /Yr.

Overview

Due to growth, we are adding Sr. Market VP, Consultant Relations to our Sales Support department 

 

The Sr. Market VP, Consultant Relations is responsible for the strategic account management of national benefit consulting groups. This position is responsible for developing and executing on the strategy to engage the consulting firms, with the end goal of generating a working knowledge of Navitus’ service offering and value in the marketplace that results in increased RFP activity, improved sales results, higher account retention, and expansion of business.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Establish and maintain trusted, strategic relationships between Navitus and benefits consultants at the national level in order to enhance and strengthen Navitus’ reputation within the consulting community
  • Lead and manage activities, communications, and continuing education efforts with national consulting firms, including the relationship between Navitus’ internal sales teams and the national consulting firm
  • Leverage a deep knowledge of the competitive PBM landscape to analyze and interpret market and industry trends; provide insight to sales, product management and other key internal partners regarding opportunities for service and product innovation
  • Execute alignment and executive sponsorship with Navitus’ key national consulting firms
  • Partner closely with sales team to drive and support new business development and growth
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area of study required. MBA or Pharmacist Degree preferred
  • 15 years of work experience in consulting, account management and/or sales required
  • 5 years of work experience with PBM or managed care organizations required
  • 10 years of leadership/people management experience required
  • Prior experience managing a consultant relationship required
  • Knowledge and experience with the benefits underwriting process required
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship Prior experience within the competitive landscape (pharmacy and health)
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
