Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Health System Business Development Executive to our Lumicera Sales & Account Mgmt department

 

The Health System Business Development Executive at Lumicera Health Services will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach within the healthcare sector, focusing on establishing and nurturing partnerships with hospitals and health systems. Reporting to the Director, New Business Operations, this position demands a seasoned professional with a robust background in healthcare sales, capable of engaging directly with C-suite executives to foster strategic alliances. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in healthcare sales, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, result-driven environment. This role not only requires strategic sales acumen but also the capacity to influence and negotiate at the executive level to drive Lumicera Health Services' growth agenda.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Lead the entire sales lifecycle, from identifying potential leads to closing agreements, ensuring alignment with company growth targets
  • Identify, develop, and market individualized value-added services for clients as a wholistic or modular offering to achieve financial and health outcome goals for both partners
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, enhancing Lumicera's visibility and reputation in the market
  • Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and competitive intelligence
  • Drive the early stages of the business development process, including initial outreach, data assessments, and opportunity analysis
  • Manage prospecting activities, qualify leads, and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a robust funnel of opportunities
  • Conduct compelling presentations and negotiations with senior healthcare executives to advance sales initiatives
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and refine sales processes for better efficiency and productivity
  • Travel as needed (up to 40%) to engage in face-to-face meetings with clients, attend industry conferences, and participate in networking events to promote Lumicera's offerings
  • Provide detailed sales reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to the Sr Market Vice President, Sales, ensuring transparency and aiding in decision-making processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline preferred
  • 5-10 years in healthcare sales or business development, with a focus on health systems or pharmaceuticals
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and hospital partnerships
  • Proven ability to close complex, high-value deals at the executive level
  • Skilled in building and maintaining executive relationships in healthcare
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
