Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Industry Relations Manager to join our team!
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Partnerships, the Manager, Industry Relations is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing effective relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers (manufacturer) that produce specialty pharmaceuticals; and negotiating contracts with such manufacturers to ensure the specialty pharmacy can obtain specialty pharmaceuticals and pricing to meet the demands of its payers and patients. Additionally, the Manager, Industry Relations is responsible for clinical drug pipeline and maximizing access to products that the specialty pharmacy has a strategic interest in dispensing. This includes managing requests for proposals (RFP), and request for information (RFI) for network access with manufacturers. The individual in this position will provide decision support through cost modeling, manufacturer fees forecasting, and budget impact analysis. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of proposal analysts.

• Negotiates distribution and procurement agreements with specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers and ensures successful implementation of agreements to ensure compliance and full realization of agreed upon fees.
• Develop strategy for manufacturers as it relates to the clinical disease states, competing medications, and alignment with the PBM formulary.
• Oversees clinical drug pipeline and identifies opportunities to perform in RFPs and RFIs.
• Manages RFP and RFIs for manufacturers programs.
• Establish, monitor, and negotiate pricing and service agreements with manufacturers. Follows company policy regarding contract management, including legal and compliance review, and oversight.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers and identifies manufacturer program opportunities for the specialty pharmacy.
• Expands and negotiates manufacturer programs including data and enhanced services programs.
• Participate in, adhere to and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.

What our team expects from you?
• PharmD, B.S. Pharmacy or Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other graduate degree is preferred.
• 5 years of specialty pharmacy or pharmaceutical industry experience required.
• Experience in contract negotiation; with strong preference in specialty or industry relations contracting (or equivalent experience)
• Must understand Specialty Pharmacy drugs including REMS and Limited Distribution Products best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and ability to function independently and make decisions.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
