Pay Range

USD $65,686.00 - USD $79,140.00 /Yr.

Overview

Lumciera Health Solutions is seeking an Instructional Designer to join our team!

 

The Instructional Designer will research, design, deliver and evaluate training curriculum and materials for instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and online formats; evaluate the effectiveness of the training; and refine programs accordingly. This includes the design and development of e-learning coursework, developing digital resources, reporting on ID quality indicators, and creating interactive content that engages remote learners. The designer will conduct needs analyses and work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and gaps within the organization. The incumbent will ensure that training initiatives are developed and implemented that address identified gaps, support processes, policies, or procedures when appropriate. This is an individual contributor role that requires a growing knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design best practices, technical excellence, and associated regulatory and accreditation business needs.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?   
Training Design, Development, Delivery, and Evaluation (60%)
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), internal customers, and key leaders on training development and strategic alignment of programs and services
• Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and e-learning training; enhance quality of current offerings with commitment to interactivity, mixed media, and accessible content.
• Assist with the management of the annual development and assignment cycle, to include compliance training, code of conduct attestations, department refreshers, and regulatory updates 
LMS Administration (30%)
• Develop SCORM-compliant e-learning courseware and video-based training 
• Serve as a site administrator for the corporate learning management system to assign online coursework, schedule training events, and update training records.
• Assist during file audits, including updating records, ad hoc reporting, and document review as needed.
 Department Stakeholder (10%)
• Participate in Department planning to meet business needs.
• Assist with associate satisfaction activities as needed.
• Participate in, adhere to and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Adult Education, Training, Organizational Development, Communications, Business/Technical Writing, or a related subject. 
    • Professional certification such as the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) preferred.
    • 5 years hands-on training experience in instructional design, course development and delivery, adult learning, and evaluation methodologies preferably in corporate setting, required.
    • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (i.e. Lectora, Captivate, etc.) and learning management system administration, required.
    • Experience with webinar, video- and/or web-conferencing applications (i.e. Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Zoom, etc.) strongly preferred.
    • 1-2 years of project management experience preferred.
    • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives 
    • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
