Pay Range

USD $98,384.00 - USD $122,980.00 /Yr.

Overview

Due to growth we are seeking a Lead, Health Plan Product Strategy to join our Sales department!

 

The Lead, Health Plan Product Strategy will establish and drive health plan product strategies that support business growth goals. This includes development and oversight of a portfolio of initiatives enabling the development, sales, client management and execution of the Health Plan programs and products. The Lead provides expert leadership and support for all aspects of the Health Plan program strategy and operations. The Lead assesses the Health Plan solution model, program capacity and capabilities for managing new clients, manages the implementation of the Health Plan program and oversees subject matter expert (SME) support.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?
• Define and execute the overall health plan strategy for Navitus product portfolio, including recommendations regarding the operating model to support dynamic Health Plan clients.
• Partner with individual managers assigned to Health Plan products, projects, and solutions to ensure resourcing support needed to succeed. The Lead is the primary point of contact to resolve project/product resource constraint and major Health Plan program issues.
• Maintain ongoing pulse of functions and communications throughout the organization as a “hub” to successful delivery of key tactics to support the strategy.
• Stay abreast of and understand industry, marketplace, and legal developments and their impact on the business. Translate current and emerging market needs into product expansion/enhancement or new product concepts/business cases.
• Develop product roadmaps based on the product vision and market research. The roadmap will outline the strategic direction of the product, including feature prioritization, release timelines, and critical milestones.
• Oversee the implementation of new Health Plan program requirements and ensure successful ongoing operational administration. Requires strong collaboration and partnership with operational leaders throughout the life of the program development and implementation.
• Develop Health Plan program performance goals including membership, data and processing quality, profitability, and compliance and oversees program monitoring and reporting.
• Plan and execute product launches and go to market strategies, including pricing models, messaging, and positioning strategies. Ensure the product is effectively launched in the market and meets the target audience’s needs.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?
• A bachelor’s degree in business, or closely related field, required.
• 5+ years of experience in health plan, PBM, or health care industry preferred.
• 2+ years of indirect supervisory/management and/or coaching and mentoring experience preferred.
• Experience and expertise in new product development, product management, project management, marketing, and sales and/or strategic planning required.
• A proven track record of tangible success, including leadership and team collaboration/ relationship-building/management in a health care or related environment is essential required.
• Direct extensive knowledge and experience with Health Plans required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
