Pay Range

USD $13.00 - USD $18.00 /Yr.

Work Schedule Description (e.g. M-F 8am to 5pm)

Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

The Summer Intern supports the function of their designated department within Navitus, Lumicera or Epiphany.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Compile valuable Subject Matter Expert (SME) topics and documentation by working with team members
  • Create clear and concise documentation for both the Analytics team and business users
  • Edit and proofread documentation for accuracy and clarity
  • Develop FAQs and reference pages for business users to access
  • Ensure documentation and applications comply with Navitus style guides and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on documentation projects
  • Recognize, suggest, and assist with process improvements
  • Display critical thinking and problem-solving competencies
  • Assist with special projects
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in technical writing, communications, or a related field. Minor or emphasis in computer science or related technical field would be desired
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend and explain complex technical information clearly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Resourceful and independently motivated
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles for document visuals
  • Experience with Confluence or similar web-based wiki is desired
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4 year college for the upcoming school year
  • Must have at least 1 year of coursework completed
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
  • The intern role is considered a learning opportunity and as such, no specific experience is required. Preference may be given to candidates with work experience or education paths determined desirable by the department each intern supports
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
