This is a hybrid role working onsite at our headquarters each week located at 361 Integrity Drive  Madison, WI 53717.

 

Due to growth, we are adding an Analyst, Financial and Cash to our Finance Administration department.  

 

The position of Analyst, Financial and Cash performs various financial analysis associated with the company’s financial operations as a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM). The Analyst, Financial and Cash compiles financial data in various formats to be used by Senior Leadership, SSM Health, and other key stakeholders in the organization.  In addition, this position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at optimizing cash flow, ensuring liquidity, and mitigating financial risks.

How do I make an impact on my team?   

• Assist with corporate budgeting and forecasting 
• Analyze various revenue and expense variances 
• Participate in annual budget process support departments as needed 
• Assist with various financial analysis as generally required by the business, lease analysis, vendor analysis and other general financial modeling 
• Support Sr. Financial Analysts on project work as needed 
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor, document and analyze daily cash positions to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs. Maintain 13-week cash flow forecasts and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. 
• Transaction Processing: Oversee processing of fund transfers, wire payments, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. Ensure timely reconciliation of cash applications and disbursements 
• Liquidity Optimization: Evaluate and manage liquidity by optimizing the use of capital. This includes managing cash concentration accounts and zero-balance accounts to maximize interest income 
• Bank Relations: Maintain relationships with banking partners and financial institutions to support cash management operations. Review bank fees. 
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for executives regarding the company’s liquidity position, cash management metrics, borrowing rates, and any variances from forecasts. Assist in the development of treasury policies and procedures 
• Work closely with Accounting Team on cash monitoring, cash transactions, and related journal entries 
• Other duties as assigned 

What our team expects from you?  

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required 
• 2 years financial analysis or treasury operations experience required 
• Experience working with financial data and understanding results 
• Experience with Accounting and financial software and tools for forecasting and planning. Oracle Fusion preferred but not required. 
• Experience creating financial models 
• Experience working with advanced Excel formulas 
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives 
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
