Due to growth we are adding a Financial Systems Architect to our Accounting department!
The Financial Systems Architect will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and configuring the systems that process financial and billing data. This role collaborates with internal teams and stakeholders to identify and understand business changes and solutions within the financial systems software to meet those objectives. The Financial Systems Architect reviews and updates client-specific data, monitors and reinforces financial processes, and works with the business to identify efficiencies and document requirements.

How do I make an impact on my team?
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to onboard new clients, setup new products and pricing templates. Validates accuracy of setups before launch into production.
• Partners with the IT and Data Governance teams to ensure quality of financial data.
• Reports progress on key performance indicators which demonstrate improvements on workflow or other departmental objectives.
• Acts as functional application subject matter expert ensuring the quality of invoices, supplemental reports, and other reports or deliverables as defined by the business.
• Assists or leads special projects relating to systems enhancements, upgrades, or the implementation of new modules within the Financial Applications.
• Engages with external software and/or consulting vendors on enhancements and releases roadmap. Assess pros and cons to incorporating releases into financial platforms as well as impact on processes and personnel.
• Provides training and support to business end users as new enhancements or releases are incorporated into the financial applications.
• Participate in, adhere to and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.

What our team expects from you?
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology required.
• 7-10 years of experience required in a business analyst or process management role focused within finance/accounting or similar division working directly with enterprise financial applications.
• 5+ years of experience with financial system oversight or management required.
• 5+ years of direct hands-on experience with industry-recognized Billing and ERP platforms involved in tasks such as feature rollout testing, assisting with enhancements, and system training required. Oracle preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare-related or prescription benefits environment preferred.
• Advanced Excel required. Visio preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
