Pay Range

USD $105,270.00 - USD $131,588.00 /Yr.

Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Sr. IT Business Relationship Manager to our IT Management department 

 

The Sr. IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a strategic leader who reports to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for ensuring the alignment between business objectives and IT capabilities. Serving as a key liaison between executive business leadership and IT, this role ensures that technology investments support and advance corporate strategy. The Sr. IT Business Relationship Manager will work closely with business leaders, stakeholders and IT professionals to enhance collaboration and maximize the value delivered by IT to the organization.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?   

  • Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to key executive and IT stakeholders to ensure IT investments support enterprise goals and objectives 
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business unit’s operations, goals, objectives, priorities and challenges in support of strategic IT-Business alignment 
  • Lead the development of long-term IT roadmaps in partnership with business units to ensure IT investments support enterprise goals as well as business unit strategic objectives 
  • Facilitate regular meetings as well as clear effective communications between business stakeholders and IT teams to discuss ongoing projects, upcoming needs, current issues and potential challenges 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document and prioritize business requirements 
  • Support IT project managers by providing business context, key performance indicators and success metrics that ensure project deliverables meet business expectations and deliver measurable business value 
  • Collaborate with IT project managers in monitoring the progress of IT projects, addressing any issues or concerns and providing regular updates to business unit stakeholders 
  • Provide oversight for high-impact Business-IT initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and successful execution 
  • Advocate for the business unit’s needs within the IT department, ensuring that their priorities are reflected in IT’s strategic planning 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?  

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred 
  • Certifications such as Certified Business Relationship Manager (CBRM), Business Analysis (CBAP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification, IT Service Management (ITSM) certification, or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred 
  • 7+ years of experience in IT business relationship management, strategy, or a related leadership role. 
  • Proven track record of driving IT-business alignment and digital transformation. 
  • Extensive experience collaborating with senior executives and influencing technology investment decisions 
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives 
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
