Pay Range

USD $55,151.00 - USD $66,447.00 /Yr.

Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Quality Analyst to join our Quality department!

 

The Quality Analyst (QA) is a member of the Accreditation Quality Team (AQT) and is responsible for supporting and coordinating quality activities performed by Navitus Health Solutions. The QA will work with an advanced level of independence to ensure quality requirements are completed in a timely manner. This individual requires an advanced understanding of quality standards and processes and will provide training and guidance to the Navitus teams impacted. The QA is responsible for Navitus Quality Program maintenance to include policy and procedure management, quality committee preparation and document management. The QA will mentor and support other members of the Quality Team.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Assist with preparation of all required quality tasks, maintain documentation to demonstrate compliance with quality standards
  • Take ownership of the development and maintenance of necessary quality department policies and procedures. Assure policies and procedures comply with regulations and validate policies and procedures are in practice as written
  • Coordinate and create agendas for all Navitus quality committees and their respective quality improvement teams. Provide support and assistance for all quality activities driven by these teams. Facilitate virtual meetings across multiple campuses. Assist functional owners with reporting as it pertains to quality improvement initiatives and quality performance indicators. Assist functional owners with documenting action plans if performance goals are not met
  • Assist with preparation of the annual Quality Management Program Descriptions and Quality Program Evaluation by providing content recommendations. Develop and own the content of the Quality Work Plan
  • Anticipate and develop quality resources for internal and external customers. Maintain resource documents on the AQT site of the Navitus intranet to ensure the documents are accessible to end users.
  • Develop curriculum and provide training to Navitus departments regarding quality standards/processes. This includes training to departments when standards or guidelines are revised
  • Use knowledge and expertise to evaluate if current Navitus practice/process meets current best practice. Perform quality audits by department to ensure Navitus remains compliant with all quality processes. Provide detailed feedback to the department. Identify gaps in process/performance that require correction. Assist functional owners with the creation and implementation of a corrective action plan as required. Provide support and follow up to accomplish goals
  • Identify AQT processes that can be improved and suggest ways to improve, including collaboration with other departments. Create plan of action and lead efforts to achieve those process improvements. Monitor goals to ensure success
  • Ability to travel between Navitus campuses 5% of the time
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • College degree or equivalent experience required in the field of healthcare or quality management and/or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with quality, or equivalent disciplines required
  • Experience in a pharmacy or PBM preferred
  • Experience in quality management preferred
  • Knowledge of quality principles, standards and processes strongly desired
  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge in MS Office including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint preferred
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
