Pay Range

USD $72,812.75 - USD $89,341.05 /Yr.

Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Supervisor, Rebate Operations to join our team!

The Supervisor, Rebate Operations is responsible for the supervision of members of the Rebate Operations Team as well as oversight of operational aspects and ownership of Navitus’ rebate programs including but not limited to rebate submission through direct pharmaceutical manufacturers, rebate submissions through third party entities, rebate optimization, rebate guarantee reconciliation and reporting, sales and request for proposal (RFP) support, and client operations.  The Supervisor will be responsible for understanding and implementing the pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate process including the submission and reconciliation processes.  This individual will work closely with the Rebate Analysts/Specialists to assure complete, accurate and timely manufacturer rebate submissions.  In addition, this person will oversee the support of the strategic positioning of the DART Rebate system and 3D Rebate Environments with coordinating the SR needs for IT and Analytics.  Rebate Analysts/Specialists will report to this position directly.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?   

  • Primary point of contact for the Rebate Analysts/Specialists when addressing issues related to rebate contract submission, reconciliation, and allocation
  • Responsible for IRC related audits, reporting, and client questions
  • Trainer of all new Rebate Analysts/Specialists and responsible for the development of training materials and policies and procedures
  • Annual performance reviews and goal setting for the Rebate Analysts/Specialists and handles the performance management responsibilities for assigned Analyst/Specialists
  • Ability to analyze claims data to ensure the accuracy of group purchasing organization (GPO) rebate processing, direct contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers, and establish recommendations to clients for rebate optimization
  • Responsible for providing sales and request for proposal (RFP) support for prospective clients, client renewals, and market checks
  • Support contract review, data entry, evaluation, and reconciliation of Navitus client rebate financial guarantees
  • Serve as direct contact for Navitus Client Services regarding client specific rebate reporting and rebate guarantee questions and data analysis
  • Coordinate with Analytics on the maintenance of the Navitus 3D Rebate reporting environments. Assist in managing new rebate program initiatives and the expansion of rebate forecasting.  
  • Serve as direct contact for Navitus Client Services regarding client specific rebate reporting and rebate guarantee questions and data analysis 
  • Is a reliable resource and coordinator for Analytics on the maintenance of the Navitus 3D Rebate reporting environments. Manage new rebate program initiatives and the expansion of rebate forecasting.  
  • Actively collaborates with IRC Contractors and maintains a high-level understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate contracts
  • Willingness to maintain a basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate contracts, submissions and all deliverables to trade or third-party entities
  • Adept in GPO strategy and pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts to accurately set up and maintain parameters in the rebate processing system and correctly allocate rebate payments
  • Establishes vision for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on direction set in long-term business strategy
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required 
  • Pharmacy technician, trade, Industry Relations, and/or analytical experience desired 
  • Must be comfortable communicating across multiple areas within the organization and leading cross-departmental conversations
