Pay Range

USD $25.74 - USD $31.02 /Hr.

Overview

This role’s responsibilities will be to help in the in the onboarding and ongoing maintenance of Navitus’ vendor relationships. Under the oversight of the Sr Vendor Risk Manager, you will partner with various internal business owners to properly risk assess vendor relationships, set guidance on document collection, and connect with various Subject Matter Experts in evaluating the vendor relationship. You will also assist in bringing the current vendor relationship inventory into compliance with the Vendor Risk Management Program. This position reports up through the Compliance Department and works closely with Finance, Information Security, Infrastructure, Business Continuity, and other areas of the company. Vendor risk management is pervasive in health plan and other RFPs with expectation of non-passive oversight for core and critical risk vendors. Additionally, supplier diversity management needs to be further developed and maintained. This role is critical in helping navigate this volume of vendor relationships, ensuring ongoing risk management of vendor relationships, and facilitate the growth and high quality of service of Navitus.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Be a key Navitus contact for vendors
  • Collect and merge various vendor listings into our master vendor inventory list in our risk management software and systems
  • Maintain and keep current the master vendor inventory list in our risk management software and systems
  • Create reports on vendor activities/status for various company initiatives and goals
  • Work with leadership and internal business owners in document collection and review practices
  • Work with internal business owners and vendors on completion of annual reviews of the vendor relationships
  • Outreach to vendors to seek clarification on submitted materials, ownership status, and other elements included in risk evaluation and provide feedback
  • Assist internal Business Owners in the vendor risk assessment process in answering questions and meeting completion dates
  • Evaluate documentation and substitute document and review/approve for fulfillment, appropriateness, compliance, and satisfaction of vendor onboarding requirements
  • Maintains financial and/or other tracking for vendor received products and services
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • High School Diploma Required, Associate/Bachelor Degree Preferred
  • Experience with vendor relationship management, vendor risk management, and risk management
  • Managing database of information
  • Preference for experience in a healthcare or financial management environment
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
