Pay Range

USD $67,599.00 - USD $81,445.00 /Yr.

Overview

The Application Systems Developer I Atlassian Suite assures efforts are in alignment with IT Enterprise Services to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions and services to simplify people’s lives. This role is responsible for development support, design, programming and implementation of custom processes within the framework of various enterprise systems. This individual will work directly with business users to ensure development meets business requirements ensuring the business needs are met.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Direct development experience in the Atlassian suite with automation within Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence and Assets.
  • Additional knowledge and experience of platforms such as Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Nintex K2 as well as other vendor purchased applications.
  • Ensure team efforts to delight the customer
  • Cultivate a positive team atmosphere
  • Develop and sustain a culture of operational excellence that creates value for the customer.
  • Provide responsive technical assistance and document configuration to support processes.
  • Work independently to understand and document business needs.
  • Work with additional functional teams to ensure optimal operations of application development
  • Support change control and testing processes for modifications to application systems
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches to business needs
  • Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale
  • Develop and maintain documentation of custom processes
  • Provide backup administration support to other ASA teammates
  • Provide after-hours support
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Associate college degree or University degree in the field of computer science or 1+ year equivalent work experience
  • Direct development experience in the Atlassian suite with automation focused around Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence and Assets
  • Knowledge of programming languages and environments using structured techniques; system analysis and design principles K2 5, Dynamics CRM and/or SharePoint development and support experience
  • Hands on enterprise application troubleshooting experience
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Working technical knowledge of network, PC, Windows Operating systems, Microsoft/Oracle databases, process automation, and Agile Project Methodology
  • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws; including SSAE16, HIPPA, and URAC
  • Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals
  • Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required
  • Some travel required
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
