Pay Range

USD $112,640.00 - USD $140,799.99 /Yr.

Overview

Lumicera is seeking a Manager, Program Management, EPMO to join our EPMO Administration departmnet.

 

The Manager, Program Management EPMO is responsible for working with business leaders to identify and define enterprise-level programs, strategies and plans to align with organizational goals. Overseeing development of business benefits and program cost proposals, the Manager provides direction and facilitation expertise to ensure management decision-making for optimal return on investment. This individual coordinates with various departments and vendors to achieve and maintain effective administration of assigned programs and help meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Select, develop, motivate, train, and retain competent, engaged staff. Provide opportunities for professional development. Reward and recognize accomplishments and successes. Manage performance improvement, discipline processes and terminations, as appropriate
  • Timely completion of performance appraisals and merit increases
  • Organize and coordinate programs and provide strategic guidance to assigned teams, project managers and scrum masters
  • Establish and manage program budgets; follows processes set by the organization and works closely with finance resources to maintain visibility to program and project financial health Monitor benefits realization and track the achievement of a program’s objectives
  • Ensure program decisions are documented. Analyze for impact to the program and across the enterprise portfolio; work collaboratively to resolve conflicts and ensure communication across the appropriate channels and stakeholders
  • Guide project teams to ensure delivery within approved project and program scope. As needed, assist in the prioritization of requirements to enable project teams to deliver solutions within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Liaise across various departments on assigned programs, ensuring effective integration and communication
  • Provide successful framework for solution operationalization post-project implementation. Work with product owners and teams to identify or update performance metrics. Ensures successful transition from project to service post implementation
  • Ensure transparency through frequent communication with stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of external project and portfolio communications
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business, finance, program management or related field, with ten (10) years equivalent work experience
  • Six (6) years relevant work (8-12 years preferred) managing complex, high-risk and high-visibility projects
  • Proven experience executing successful project management standards with a complex organization and/or various IT domains (infrastructure, Dev/Ops, cybersecurity, etc.)
  • Three or more years program management experience
  • Demonstrates experience developing business case, roadmaps, and program metrics
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with project and portfolio management platforms is required
  • Experience working within an Enterprise PMO, facilitating governance processes, and oversight/steering committee
  • Health insurance or pharmacy benefits management industry experience is preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar project management certification which provides the same functional project management training and practice standards
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) is desirable
  • Agile certifications are highly desirable
  • Organizational change management certifications (e.g., ADKAR®, CCMP) desirable
  • ITIL foundation, IT service management and/or Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certifications are desirable
  • Staff must be able to achieve advanced professional certifications within 6-12 months once in role
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
