Pay Range

USD $137,988.00 - USD $172,485.00 /Yr.

Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Director, Supply Chain to our Lumicera Administration department 

The Director, Supply Chain leads the strategic direction and execution of specialty pharmacy procurement, wholesaler engagement, and inventory management. This position oversees purchasing negotiations, wholesaler and group purchasing strategies, and inventory operations to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The role manages a team of supply chain professionals and collaborates closely with outside organizations to enhance agreements and purchasing power. 

The Director, Supply Chain plays a critical role in supporting the mission of Lumicera by ensuring a resilient and cost-effective supply chain that enables access to specialty medications. Through strategic sourcing and operational excellence, the Director, Supply Chain contributes to the organizations’ goals of improving patient outcomes and delivering value-based pharmacy solutions.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?   

  • Leads contract negotiations with specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, and other pharmacy supply chain vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and access
  • Leads group purchasing and buying consortium strategic initiative 
  • Develops and executes purchasing strategies that align with business goals and market conditions
  • Directs wholesaler and manufacturer relationship management to ensure service level performance and supply continuity
  • Evaluates and implements group purchasing opportunities to maximize cost savings and operational efficiency
  • Oversees inventory planning and forecasting to maintain product availability and minimize waste
  • Implements inventory control processes that ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial accountability
  • Analyzes supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Guides cross-functional initiatives that enhance supply chain integration with clinical and operational workflows
  • Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing supply chain team
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, including DSCSA, DEA, and FDA requirements
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?  

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Pharmacy, or equivalent work experience, required
  • 8 years of experience in supply chain or procurement roles within healthcare or pharmacy settings required 
  • 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role required 
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives 
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
