Pay Range

USD $112,640.00 - USD $140,800.00 /Yr.

Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Platform Engineering and FinOps Manager to join our team!

 

The Manager, Platform Engineering and FinOps leads a team focused on enabling secure, scalable, and cost-effective software delivery platforms. This role oversees platform engineering functions such as CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and container orchestration, observability, while also managing the cloud financial operations (FinOps) and software procurement functions. This role partners closely with the Infrastructure and Cloud Operations team to ensure alignment on tooling, architecture, platform reliability and cost governance.

 

The Manager, Platform Engineering and FinOps plays a key role in enhancing developer experience, operational efficiency, and fiscal accountability across the hybrid cloud environment, with an emphasis on AWS and strong collaboration with enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?   

  • Lead platform engineering efforts including CI/CD pipeline management, developer enablement tooling, and internal developer platform (IDP) initiatives.
  • Oversee the integration and maintenance of tools such as Azure DevOps, SonarQube, and Snyk to support development workflows.
  • Supervise cloud FinOps practices including budget forecasting, cloud usage tracking, tagging enforcement, and savings recommendations.
  • Guide observability engineering including implementation of metrics, logs, and traces to improve platform reliability and incident response.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure and Cloud Operations team to support cloud-native patterns and ensure platform compatibility.
  • Drive adoption of automation, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps principles within platform engineering workflows.
  • Support enterprise cost governance by producing reports, dashboards, and visibility into AWS usage and optimization opportunities.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing team of platform engineers, DevOps engineers, and FinOps analysts.
  • Define and execute a roadmap for platform modernization and cloud financial maturity.
  • Participate in, adhere to and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field required. 
  • Certifications in AWS, FinOps, or DevOps toolchains are preferred.
  • 5+ years in platform engineering or DevOps roles required.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role required.
  • Experience managing cloud spend and collaborating with infrastructure or finance teams on cost optimization required.
  • Knowledge of AWS services, cost management tools, observability platforms, and developer enablement practices required.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives 
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
