Pay Range

USD $124,140.00 - USD $155,175.00 /Yr.

STAR Bonus % (At Risk Maximum)

5.00 - Salaried Non-Management except pharmacists

Due to growth, we are adding an Architect, Oracle Functional Solutions to our team! 

 

The Financial ERP Oracle Functional Solutions Architect is the functional architecture authority for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB), with responsibility for solution strategy, functional design, platform governance, release and upgrade planning, integration oversight, and long-term application health. The Architect translates complex finance, billing, revenue management, reporting, control, and operational requirements into scalable and supportable Oracle solutions. This position works directly with Finance, business process owners, product owners, Enterprise Architecture, Data Services, application support teams, internal IT teams, Oracle, and third-party partners to improve business outcomes, maximize delivered Oracle capabilities, and reduce unnecessary customization.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Own and maintain the functional solution architecture and roadmap for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and ORMB.
  • Lead discovery, requirements analysis, fit-gap assessment, future-state process design, solution option evaluation, and functional design decisions.
  • Translate business requirements into process flows, solution blueprints, functional specifications, configuration decisions, integration requirements, reporting requirements, controls, and test scenarios.
  • Prioritize delivered Oracle capabilities and recommend extensions or customization only when justified by business value, risk, and supportability.
  • Assess cross-platform impacts and maintain alignment across billing, receivables, payables, cash management, general ledger, financial reporting, master data, security, and related processes.
  • Develop and maintain architecture standards, decision records, design documentation, configuration rationale, and reusable solution patterns.
  • Provide functional architecture leadership for implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP capabilities, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and other approved financial modules.
  • Partner with Finance to align configuration and process design with accounting, reconciliation, close, reporting, audit, and internal-control requirements.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests and recommend solutions that improve financial process effectiveness, data quality, controls, usability, and platform sustainability.
  • Assess Oracle update and release impacts and provide direction for configuration review, business readiness, regression testing, and adoption of applicable capabilities.
  • Provide functional architecture leadership across ORMB customer and account structures, pricing, billing, receivables, payments, adjustments, collections, delinquency, financial interfaces, and related revenue-management functions.
  • Lead ORMB fit-gap analysis and recommend product-based, configurable, and supportable approaches.
  • Apply working knowledge of ORMB architecture and the Oracle Utilities Application Framework to evaluate functional options, dependencies, upgrade impacts, and approved extensions.
  • Partner with business owners and technical teams on the functional behavior of ORMB integrations, conversions, reports, invoice outputs, batch processing, and exception handling.
  • Provide functional oversight for integrations connecting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and ORMB with Oracle Integration Cloud, enterprise data platforms, financial institutions, reporting solutions, and approved upstream and downstream systems.
  • Define and validate functional requirements for inbound and outbound interfaces, APIs, files, batch processes, sequencing, error handling, monitoring, reconciliation, and recovery.
  • Ensure financial, billing, operational, and reconciliation reporting requirements are included in end-to-end solution designs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?  

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required. 
  • Oracle certification in Fusion Cloud ERP, ORMB, or related Oracle capability preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant enterprise application experience, including progressively responsible functional design, implementation, or solution architecture responsibilities required.
  • 10+ years of Oracle Financials, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, ORMB, or related enterprise financial application experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated functional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials and Oracle Revenue Management and Billing required.
  • Experience leading a full implementation, major transformation, or comparable lifecycle across discovery, fit-gap, design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and stabilization required.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, billing, receivables, revenue-management, reconciliation, financial-control, and enterprise-reporting processes required.
  • Experience setting application strategy and providing architecture recommendations for scaling, enhancing, and sustaining enterprise systems required.
  • Experience designing solutions that span multiple applications, integrations, data flows, scheduled processes, reports, and business functions required.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service-management concepts and application lifecycle governance required.
  • Strong knowledge of ORMB billing and receivables and working knowledge of the Oracle Utilities Application Framework preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and functional design of APIs, services, file-based integrations, and scheduled processes preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, insurance, financial services, utilities, or another complex billing environment preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle update and upgrade management, regression-test strategy, test automation, and managed-service support models preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy, security, audit, and regulatory requirements preferred.
